Worth the watch, but at the 4:00 min mark, he says how the rear wing on the Countach helped solve the aerodynamic problems, and stuck the tires to the ground. If you're on Oppo, then you know that all that wing actually did was make drag, and was probably only an option because of Bullrun.

I remember reading somewhere that the rear wing didn't actually have any other purpose other than to look good. The Countach apparently suffered from some front end lift at speed, so the rear wing wasn't supposed to do anything.

Technically, even if the wing only generated drag, due to the moment generated there would still be some downforce generated.
